He is best known as the vocalist of the band Kinniku Shōjo Tai, among others like Tokusatsu and Underground Searchlie. Ohtsuki's musical career began in the late 1970s, influenced by progressive rock and Japanese punk. He has also performed theme songs for several anime series, including *Welcome to the N.H.K.*, *Hellsing*, and *Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei*. In addition to his music, Ohtsuki is a Seiun Award-winning writer and has been involved in various media appearances, including radio and talk shows.
