Giulia Valle

Giulia Valle is a notable figure in the contemporary jazz scene, born in Sanremo, Italy, in 1972, but she grew up in Barcelona. She is recognized as a bassist and composer with a unique voice, bringing together classical and modern influences to create her distinctive sound. Giulia has worked with several renowned musicians including John McNeil, Guillermo Klein, Bill McHenry, and Jason Lindner. Her musical projects, such as the *Líbera* project, showcase her eclectic style, which ranges from punk to free jazz and rhumba. She is also an educator, teaching at the Conservatori del Liceu in Barcelona.
