OC45

OC45 is an independent punk band from Boston, Massachusetts, formed in the summer of 2011. The band has been active on the touring circuit, having played over 500 shows and spending about a full year on the road. Composed of Derek Rossi on guitar, Adam along with other members including Nick on bass and Kory, who joined early on and goes by the nickname "Rook," the group has a dynamic sound that combines catchy hooks with a punk edge. Their music often explores personal experiences, though they also enjoy experimenting with darker themes for creative depth. Notable albums include "Happy Accidents" and more recent releases like "False Idol," "City on a Hill," "Burn It," and "When It Hits."

The band's name, OC45, was originally inspired by "Old Crow and the 45s," but was shortened after legal issues with Old Crow Medicine Show. Despite their growing recognition, OC45 keeps a down-to-earth approach and focuses on writing music with substance, often incorporating social and political commentary into their lyrics.
