Yula Kasp

Yula Kasp is a songwriter, singer, and producer based in Paris, France. Growing up, she was influenced by the dregs of the communist regime in Warsaw before moving to Toronto, where American Rock n' Roll rebellion shaped her teenage years. She has released notable projects such as the digital mini-LP "Ocean Blues" in 2016 on the Parisian label Kill the DJ, which also features a vinyl with remixes by Pilooski and Rebolledo. Her early work, "Spacer," is composed entirely with poems by her grandmother Wanda Trampczynska and was released on Polskie Radio in 2011. Yula’s more recent collaboration with Mi.RO, "Mayumi," debuted in 2021 via Dischi Autunno, showcasing her continued exploration of indie, ambient, and experimental sounds.
