Asking Alexandria is a British rock band that has successfully carved its place within the modern scene through a fusion of heavy metal and electronic elements, contributing to the post-hardcore and metalcore genres since their formation in 2008. Originally founded in Dubai by guitarist Ben Bruce, the band moved to the UK where they underwent lineup changes, eventually solidifying its presence with Danny Worsnop on vocals, Cameron Liddell and Ben Bruce on guitars, Sam Bettley on bass, and James Cassells on drums. They gained rapid momentum with the release of their debut album, "Stand Up and Scream," in 2009, which was closely followed by intensive touring and appearances on major festivals worldwide.

Through the years, Asking Alexandria has been known for their relentless energy and emotive lyrics, gaining a dedicated fan base as they released several successful albums, including "Reckless & Relentless," "From Death to Destiny," and their self-titled "Asking Alexandria" in 2017. The band experienced a significant shift with the temporary departure of Worsnop in 2015, which brought a change in their sound with the high-profile entrance and subsequent exit of Denis Stoff as a temporary frontman. Worsnop's return in 2016 marked a new era for the group, offering a matured sound that blends heavy riffs with melodic heights, as reflected in their recent releases like "Like a House on Fire" and "See What’s on the Inside." The band's creativity and willingness to evolve have kept them at the forefront of the heavy music scene, with tracks like "Alone Again," "Dark Void," and collaborative works such as "The Retaliators Theme (21 Bullets)" showcasing their versatility and continued relevance within the genre.
