ArteCombo

ArteCombo is a wind quintet formed in 2007, consisting of five talented musicians: Mayu Sato (flute), Baptiste Gibier (oboe), Annelise Clément (clarinet), Cyril Normand (french horn), and Frank Sibold (bassoon). They specialize in performing the traditional wind quintet repertoire, including famous composers like Ligeti, Hindemith, and Françaix. Additionally, ArteCombo creates their own arrangements of iconic pieces, such as Gershwin's "An American in Paris," and has commissioned works like Jean-Philippe Calvin's "Kleztet." They have also performed in various locations, mainly in France and Japan, and have won recognition at the Henri Tomasi International Woodwind Quintet Competition in Marseille.

Their music catalog includes notable releases such as "Caravane Gazelle," "Carnet de route," and more recent arrangements like "Gershwin: Stairway to Paradise" and "Les Correspondances." ArteCombo's versatility and creative approach to classical music have made them a compelling act in the contemporary classical scene.
