Jon Faukstad

Jon Faukstad is a renowned Norwegian accordionist and professor of accordion at the Norwegian State Academy of Music in Oslo. Born on July 12, 1944, in Heidal, Gudbrandsdal, he has been a leading figure in Norwegian music since the early 1970s. Faukstad has collaborated with numerous Norwegian composers, premiering and performing their works both domestically and internationally.
