La Rose Et Missile 727

La Rose et Missile 727 is a Haitian musical act led by Dieudonné Larose, a prominent figure in the Haitian music scene. Larose started his professional musical career with Sugar Combo and later joined several bands including Africa Express and DP Express before relocating to Canada in 1987 due to political turmoil in Haiti. In Canada, he became a key member of Meridional des Cayes, a band that evolved into Missile 727 after facing criticism. Missile 727 gained considerable success, releasing multiple albums such as *Misyon*, *Demokrasi*, *Rasamble*, and *Joli Minou*, with about six albums in total under that name. Their album *Mandela* was particularly successful, reportedly earning more revenue than any other Haitian band at the time. Dieudonné Larose eventually founded a new group called Excell Compas in Miami, continuing to perform around the Caribbean and pursuing sound engineering studies.

The band is known for vibrant hits like *Messager De L'an 2000*, *Domocratie*, and *Mission*, which showcase their energetic style and deep roots in Haitian music. Larose's career is marked by a blend of musical talent and diverse life experiences, including working as a mason, carpenter, mechanic, and more, all of which add to his rich artistic persona. Missile 727 remains an influential name in Haitian music, loved for their captivating melodies and socially conscious lyrics.
