Scary Pockets is a dynamic funk band formed in Los Angeles, consisting of core members Ryan Lerman and Jack Conte. The band is known for their creative funk covers of popular songs, which they release weekly on YouTube. Scary Pockets features a rotating lineup of talented session musicians and vocalists from the LA music scene, bringing a fresh and funky twist to familiar tunes.
Ryan Lerman, who spent his twenties touring with Ben Folds and has worked with Michael Bublé and John Legend, joins forces with Jack Conte, a musician and entrepreneur who co-founded Patreon. Together, they arrange and produce funk versions of hit songs, collaborating with a diverse array of guest artists to create their signature sound.
