Taz Buckfaster

Taz Buckfaster is a prominent figure in Scotland's electronic music scene, known for his involvement in both grime and dubstep genres. Originally from Scotland, he has been active in setting up raves to spread the sound across the region. Buckfaster's career began to take shape around 2006, when he adopted his moniker, paying homage to Buckfast Tonic Wine. He gained recognition with the help of notable artists like Hudson Mohawke, who regularly played his tracks, leading to airplay on Radio 1 and interest from various labels. This exposure propelled him into the spotlight, particularly with releases like the "Gold Tooth Grin" EP on the Glasgow label Numbers.
