Wolfpakk

Wolfpakk is a melodic heavy metal project that came into the music scene with a collaborative spirit and a knack for engaging melodic hooks. It was created by two well-established figures in the rock and metal community, vocalists Michael Voss (Mad Max, Casanova) and Mark Sweeney (ex-Crystal Ball). The project came to life when the pair decided to merge their creative energies in 2011. Since its inception, Wolfpakk has stood out for its distinct approach to music, often enlisting a variety of guest musicians to contribute to their albums and add a unique richness to their sound.

With a discography punctuated by a series of ensemble albums, Wolfpakk's music is characterized by strong melodies, powerful riffs, and a blend of classic hard rock and melodic metal. Albums such as "Nature Strikes Back" and "Wolves Reign" showcase a band that excels in creating anthemic songs, a testament to Voss and Sweeney's ability to harness the talents of their rotating lineup of guest artists. Notable tracks like "Lone Ranger," "Falling," and "Blood Brothers" encapsulate their sonic identity, one that pays homage to the traditions of metal while forging their own lane—aptly reflected in their song "My Own Lane." Wolfpakk's continued contributions to the genre demonstrate an unwavering commitment to collaborative heavy music, with each release further cementing their reputation as curators of high-caliber metal anthems.
