Party Hats is a noise rock band from Chicago, Illinois. The band was formed in 2016 and consists of vocalist and guitarist Chris Burgess, bassist and vocalist Emily Robb, and drummer Mike Watt. Party Hats' music is characterized by its abrasive, distorted guitars, pounding drums, and Burgess's shouted vocals. The band has released two full-length albums, "Autobiographic Autopsy" (2018) and "Fatima" (2020), as well as a split EP with Leroy Trinket. Party Hats has toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe, and has shared the stage with bands such as The Jesus Lizard, Shellac, and Big Black.
