The Battery Electric

The Battery Electric is a New Jersey-born rock outfit that's been charging up stages since their formation in 2010. Hailing from Asbury Park, this gritty quartet blends punk energy, garage rock swagger, and power pop hooks into a sound that feels both nostalgic and fresh. Fronted by charismatic vocalist/guitarist Bill Pritchard, with Ron Santee on bass, the band built their reputation on sweat-soaked live shows and releases like *Wasted Blood* (2013) and *Dangerous Things* (2017), which spawned fan favorites like "Big Tears" and "Goin' Wild." Their 2023 singles – including the raw "Dead Mans Trunk" and riff-heavy "Ovulator" – show they're still cranking out unfiltered rock 'n' roll nearly 15 years deep into their career. Known for collaborating with Jersey punk legends like The Bouncing Souls, they keep the spirit of their hometown's DIY scene alive while adding their own jolt of modern attitude.
