**Latínudeildin** (also known as **Latin Faculty**) is a unique Icelandic musical project that brings together some of Iceland's finest musicians and vocalists. The album is a bilingual double album featuring 32 tracks with music composed by **Ingvi Þór Kormáksson**, an award-winning Icelandic songwriter with decades of experience in crafting jazzy, Latin-influenced compositions. The project showcases vocalists performing songs in both English and Icelandic, blending genres like jazz, bossanova, samba, and folk traditions into a rich sonic tapestry. Notable contributors include talented Icelandic vocalists like Eivør, along with skilled musicians such as Jóhann Ásmundsson on bass, Einar Scheving on drums, and Stefán S. Stefánsson on saxophones, who also produced the music.
