Nicolas de Angelis

Nicolas de Angelis is a French classical guitarist born in 1949 in Saint-Cloud, a suburb of Paris. He began studying guitar at the Paris Academy of Music at the age of ten, where his passion for the instrument was nurtured. De Angelis gained recognition as a talented session musician in his late teens, collaborating with French pop stars like Julien Clerc and Sylvie Vartan.

In 1981, de Angelis released his debut solo album "Quelques Notes Pour Anna," which quickly achieved gold status and established him as a notable figure in French romantic music. His delicate guitar playing and impressionistic compositions have since shaped a new wave of French romanticism, blending classical influences with contemporary styles.
