ÓNIX Ensamble is a contemporary music ensemble based in Mexico City. Founded in 1999, the group is dedicated to performing and promoting new and experimental music from Mexico and Latin America. ÓNIX has collaborated with numerous composers and musicians, and has performed at festivals and venues around the world. Their repertoire includes works by composers such as Julio Estrada, Mario Lavista, and Hilda Paredes.
