"От Юности Моея" (From My Youth) is a Moscow-based band that combines the energy and drive of hardcore punk with Christian values, often referred to as the "hristkor" genre. The group was formed in 2014 by its leader, Mikhail Divinsky, who previously played drums for Outlaw Heroes Standing. Divinsky's journey into music was marked by a significant personal transformation, as he shifted from a non-religious background to embracing Christianity after reading the New Testament in 2009. The band's music often explores themes of spiritual rebirth, patriotism, and traditional values, with albums like "Вчера/завтра" (Yesterday/Tomorrow), "Данко" (Danko), and their latest release, "Выбираю быть здесь" (I Choose to Be Here), showcasing their unique blend of sound and message.

The band's history has been marked by lineup changes, but key members like bassist Vsevolod Seryakov and guitarist Artem have contributed to their distinctive style. Despite facing challenges in the hardcore scene due to their Christian themes, "От Юности Моея" has found a loyal audience, particularly through performances at Orthodox youth centers. Their music often reflects on historical events and personal struggles, set against a backdrop of powerful guitar riffs and emotive vocals. The band continues to evolve, celebrating milestones like their 10-year anniversary in 2024 with a concert in Moscow.
