Antwerp Gipsy-Ska Orkestra

Antwerp Gipsy-Ska Orkestra is a Belgian band that's been blending cultures and genres since 2004. Hailing from the multicultural port city of Antwerp, these guys have cooked up a unique sound that mixes Roma Gypsy melodies with ska rhythms. Led by the charismatic Gregor Engelen, who sings in multiple languages including Romani, the band has made a name for themselves with their energetic live performances across Europe.

These musical globetrotters have five albums under their belt, including "Tuttilegal" (2007), "I Lumia Mo Kher" (2011), "KiloGipsyska" (2015), "Black Panther" (2017), and "Duivelsblauw" (2020). They've rocked major festivals like Dour, Lowlands, and Sziget, and even opened for the legendary Peter Gabriel. With their 20-year anniversary in 2023, Antwerp Gipsy-Ska Orkestra continues to push boundaries, incorporating influences from Lebanese, Greek, and Turkish music into their already eclectic mix.
