Bisso na Bisso

Bisso na Bisso is a French-Congolese hip-hop collective formed in the late 1990s. The name means "between us" in Lingala, reflecting the group’s mission to bridge cultures and connect the African diaspora through music. Comprised of second-generation African rappers from France, the group includes members from prominent French rap acts such as Ärsenik, 2Bal, and Neg’Marrons. Their music blends classic hip-hop rhythms with African musical influences, combining traditional Congolese sounds with contemporary rap and R&B.

Bisso na Bisso gained recognition for their conscious lyrics addressing identity, heritage, and social issues, while celebrating African culture. Their debut album, Racines, was well received for its innovative fusion of sounds and messages of unity. Over the years, they've continued to promote Afro-centric themes and maintain their commitment to cultural pride through their music.
