Allen Halloween

Allen Halloween, born Allen Pires Sanha on August 4, 1980, in Guinea-Bissau, is a prominent Portuguese rapper, singer, and producer known for his influential role in the Portuguese urban and hip hop scene. He began rapping around 1995-1996 and was a founding member of the group Youth Kriminal in 1999. Growing up in challenging conditions in Santo António dos Cavaleiros, Portugal, his music often reflects raw and honest portrayals of life in marginalized communities. Allen Halloween's work is marked by his unique style, impactful voice, and storytelling ability, touching on themes such as immigrant experiences and social struggles. His notable projects include the 2006 album "Mary Witch," inspired by horror themes, and the widely respected album "A Arvore Kriminal" released in 2012. He has also authored a book titled "Livre Arbítrio," providing deeper insight into his life and career. While he announced an end to his music career, Allen Halloween remains a significant figure in Portuguese hip hop.
