Rosa Anschütz

Rosa Anschütz is a Berlin-based German artist, composer, songwriter, and vocalist born in 1997. She blends dark post-punk and cold wave atmospheres with ethereal vocals and synth-driven melodies, creating hypnotic soundscapes that float between singing and spoken word. With a diploma in Transmedia Arts from the University of Applied Arts Vienna, Anschütz combines music with installation, poetry, and visual arts, often crafting multisensory performances that include handcrafted elements like sequined landscapes. Her work explores themes of melancholy, memory, and the desire to drift, producing music that is both cinematic and deeply emotional.

Since 2016, Rosa has released several notable albums including *Votive* (2020), *Goldener Strom* (2022), *Interior* (2024), and her highly anticipated *Sabbatical* due in September 2025 through Heartworm Press. Her recent singles like “Chase Pioneers” and “Like Oxblood” showcase a shift toward minimalist cinematic sounds, with haunting vocals front and center. Known for her immersive live performances, Rosa often integrates new poems and visuals, creating mesmerizing experiences that reflect her interdisciplinary art practice.
