Hiromitsu Agatsuma is a Japanese musician renowned for his masterful playing of the Tsugaru-shamisen, a traditional three-stringed instrument that originates from the Tsugaru region in Aomori Prefecture, Japan. Born on July 27th, 1973, in Ibaraki Prefecture, Agatsuma began playing the shamisen at the young age of six.
