This nomadic upbringing has influenced her perspective, making her feel "from everywhere and nowhere." Tanmaya's musical journey began with her mother, who introduced her to music through playing the guitar and keyboard. She started writing her own songs using the ukulele and guitar, finding solace in music during challenging times, particularly as her mother struggled with schizophrenia.
