Quartetto Indaco

Quartetto Indaco is a highly acclaimed Italian string quartet known for its vibrant performances and diverse repertoire. Formed in 2007 at the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole, the quartet consists of Eleonora Matsuno and Ida Di Vita on violins, Jamiang Santi on viola, and Cosimo Carovani on cello. They have gained recognition for their polished and exuberant style, performing at prestigious festivals and institutions across Italy and internationally in countries like Germany, Switzerland, Ireland, Latvia, Sweden, Portugal, and the Netherlands. Quartetto Indaco has won several awards, including the Scotese Prize and the "Börsen Club Hannover," and was a finalist in the 2017 Premio Paolo Borciani. Recently, they won the Osaka International Chamber Music Competition in 2023. Their repertoire spans from classical to contemporary music, with a particular focus on 19th and 20th-century composers.
