Coco Steel & Lovebomb

Coco Steel & Lovebomb is a British electronic group that emerged from the techno scene, blending elements of garage, soul, and disco with an ambient-techno foundation. The group was formed by Coco (Chris Mellor), Steel (Lene Stokes), and Lovebomb (Craig Woodrow). Chris Mellor began his career DJing at the Zap club in Brighton, where his acid-house sets gained popularity during the late 1980s house explosion. The group's music evolved over time, as seen in their debut album "New World" released in 1997, which surprised fans by shifting towards more subtle, melody-driven mood music inspired by their travel experiences.

Their subsequent releases, such as "A Collection Of Balearic I Chill Out Moods And Grooves," continued this laid-back approach, focusing on rich melodies and textured sounds. Coco Steel & Lovebomb's discography also includes more recent titles like "Im Garten," "Kino," and "The Chillout Album Remixed," showcasing their versatility in creating chillout and electronic music.
