Alogia

Alogia is a Serbian progressive/power metal band formed in 2000 in Smederevo. They are known for their intricate compositions and technical proficiency, blending elements of traditional heavy metal with progressive rock. The band's name, Alogia, is derived from a psychological term meaning a poverty of speech, which contrasts interestingly with their rich and complex musical output. Over the years, Alogia has released several albums, with "Secret Spheres of Art" being one of their notable works, showcasing their ability to weave together heavy riffs with melodic passages. They have also experimented with live performances, as seen in their release "Live and Loud With Orchestra," where they performed alongside an orchestra, adding a new dimension to their sound.

Their music often explores themes of time, life, and dreams, as reflected in albums like "Priče O Vremenu I Životu" and "Priče O Snovima." Alogia has built a dedicated following in the metal community, both in Serbia and internationally, and continues to be a significant force in the progressive metal scene.
