Chasing Embers

Chasing Embers is a Ukrainian alternative metal band formed in 2016 in Kyiv. The band was founded by drummer Vladyslav Pospolitak, who left his previous projects to focus on this new venture. The band's lineup includes July Tallina on vocals, Alexey Hrankyn and Oleksandr Zahorulia on guitars, Vladyslav Kachanovskyi on bass, and Vladyslav Pospolitak on drums. Their music is influenced by a mix of old school rock, metal, nu-metal, and alternative metal, creating a unique atmosphere. Their debut album, "Beckoning Call," released in 2019, explores themes of inner worlds, thoughts, desires, and aspirations, with notable tracks like "Beckoning Call," "High Stakes," and "Silent House" .

Chasing Embers' sound is characterized by its blend of heavy riffs, powerful vocals, and a dynamic rhythm section. The band draws inspiration from personal experiences and emotions, aiming to create sincere and relatable lyrics. Their influences include bands like System of a Down, Linkin Park, and Muse, reflecting their diverse musical backgrounds. Despite metal not being extremely popular in Ukraine, Chasing Embers is part of a rising heavy music scene that includes notable bands like Jinjer and Stoned Jesus .
