Patsy Reid

Patsy Reid is a Scottish fiddler and composer who has been playing traditional Scottish music for over 40 years. She is known for her lively and energetic playing style, and her compositions are often inspired by the landscapes and traditions of her homeland. Reid has performed and recorded with some of the biggest names in Scottish folk music, including Alasdair Fraser, Bruce MacGregor, and John McCusker. She has also toured extensively throughout the world, sharing her love of Scottish music with audiences of all ages.

In addition to her solo work, Reid is also a member of the Strathspey Queens, a trio of fiddlers who specialize in playing traditional Scottish dance music. The Strathspey Queens have released several albums and have toured extensively throughout the UK and Europe. Reid is also a passionate educator, and she teaches fiddle workshops and classes at various music schools and festivals.
