Vital Stahievitch is a pianist from Minsk, Belarus, born in 1980. He honed his skills at the Republican Music College (graduating in 1999) and the Belarusian Academy of Music (2004), where he studied with Professor Zoya Kacharskaya. His musical journey continued at the Amsterdam Conservatory, where he completed a Master’s degree (cum laude in 2007) under Håkon Austbø, and at the Amsterdam University (2009), studying with Naum Grubert. Over the years, Stahievitch has distinguished himself as a laureate of several international competitions across Europe and beyond, performing widely both as a soloist and in chamber settings.
Since 2011, Vital has been sharing his expertise as a teacher and correpetitor at the Amsterdam Conservatory. He frequently collaborates with other artists for recordings and concerts, such as his involvement in the recent album "Babajanian: Violin Sonata, Piano Trio" alongside Igor Ruhadze and Jeroen den Herder. His performances have taken him across Europe, North America, Mexico, and Japan, establishing him as a dynamic presence in the classical music scene.
