Rio Wolta is a Swiss contemporary musician and composer, born in 1988. He is known for blending different art forms and pushing their boundaries. As a multi-instrumentalist, Rio Wolta composes music for film, theater, and dance. He stages live music formats in theaters and exhibits sound installations in art spaces, often collaborating with Piet Baumgartner. His debut album, "Swing For The Nation," was released in 2015, and more recently, he released "Belle Epoque" in 2021. Rio Wolta resides in Zurich and has founded his own publishing company, "No Signal Music," with Daniel Hobi in 2022. Additionally, he released his book "92 Questions for an Artist" in 2024.
