Anna Gorecka

Anna Górecka is a Polish classical pianist and the daughter of renowned composer Henryk Górecki and pianist Jadwiga Rurańska-Górecka. Born in 1967, she graduated with distinction from the Academy of Music in Katowice in 1991, where she studied under Andrzej Jasiński. She continued her education with Wiktor Mierżanow, a prominent Russian pianist and teacher. Górecka is known for her interest in 20th- and 21st-century music and has been involved in various piano competitions and masterclasses. Her performances reflect her family's musical legacy and her own dedication to the piano.

Anna Górecka has been featured in several notable recordings, including interpretations of her father's works such as "Górecki's World of the Piano" and "Henryk Mikołaj Górecki: Piano Works". As a juror at international piano competitions and a giver of masterclasses, she continues to contribute to the musical world through both performance and education.
