Deafened is a metalcore band from San Diego, California. Formed in 2018, the band consists of vocalist Alex Maggard, guitarists Jake Oni and Nick Scott, bassist Chris Garza, and drummer Matt Young. Deafened's music is characterized by its heavy riffs, soaring vocals, and introspective lyrics. The band has released two EPs, "In Heaven" and "Mute," and is currently working on their debut full-length album. Deafened has toured extensively throughout the United States and has shared the stage with bands such as Killswitch Engage, August Burns Red, and The Devil Wears Prada.
