Stefan Filey

Stefan Filey, born July 4, 1972, is a versatile French musician known for his work in soul, R'n'B, and gospel. He grew up in Maisons-Laffitte, where he was influenced by his family's religious background and musical traditions. Stefan Filey made a significant impact on the French music scene by being one of the pioneers of the NU Soul movement. Early in his career, he was part of the group Sweetness, which opened for Michael Jackson's HIStory World Tour in Lausanne. He also worked with Absolutely Funk, a group initially formed by Canal Plus.

Stefan Filey launched his solo career in the early 2000s, focusing on soul music and releasing his debut album, "Soul Influences," in 2002. Known for his powerful vocals, he has been compared to legends like Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder. He has collaborated with numerous artists, including George Benson, Céline Dion, and Mariah Carey. His recent releases include titles like "Ma Mixtape," "La pluie est belle aussi," and "The Lost Album," showcasing his enduring creativity and soulful style.
