Ruby Fields

Ruby Fields is an Australian singer-songwriter known for her candid storytelling and raw indie rock sound that resonates with a growing fan base both in her homeland and abroad. Emerging onto the music scene in 2017 with her debut single "I Want", Fields quickly captured attention with her relatable lyrics and no-nonsense attitude, becoming a fresh and defiant voice of her generation.

Hailing from the coastal town of Cronulla in Sydney, Fields' career gained significant momentum with the release of her EP "Your Dad's Opinion for Dinner" in 2018, characterised by its garage rock edge and introspective narratives. 2019 followed suit with another successful EP, "Permanent Hermit", which was well-received for its infectious melodies and Fields’ unapologetic approach to songwriting. Since then, she has offered fans a blend of studio and live recordings, including the visceral energy of "Triple J Live at the Wireless - Laneway Brisbane 2019" and the stripped-back authenticity of "Live From Repentance Creek Hall". Fields has continued to solidify her presence with recent singles such as "Song About a Boy" and "Bottle'o", showcasing her evolution as an artist while staying true to the heartfelt storytelling that has become her signature.
