Verbena is an American alternative rock band formed in Birmingham, Alabama in 1996. The band's sound is characterized by its dreamy, atmospheric guitars, soaring vocals, and introspective lyrics. Verbena has released six studio albums, including their critically acclaimed 1999 debut "Souls for Sale." The band has toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe, and has shared the stage with such notable acts as Radiohead, The Smashing Pumpkins, and The Flaming Lips.
