Jan Keizer is a Dutch singer and composer, best known for his work as a vocalist with the popular pop band BZN. Born on April 3, 1949, in Volendam, Keizer began his music career as a drummer before transitioning to singing. He joined BZN in the late 1960s and became a lead singer after Jan Veerman left the band in 1974. During his time with BZN, Keizer enjoyed significant success throughout the 1970s and 1980s. In 2007, he disbanded BZN and has since pursued a solo career, releasing albums such as "Give me your smile" in 2008 and "Chords of Life" in 2009. His recent releases include "Kameraden," "The time of my life," "Take Me To Ibiza," and "Going Back In Time II." Keizer's contributions to Dutch music have been notable, and he continues to be recognized for his work both as a solo artist and as part of BZN.
