Draugurinn

Draugurinn is a ritual ambient solo project from Partille, Sweden, that started in the winter of 2008. The mastermind behind Draugurinn blends dark ambient, ritual ambient, drone, occult, folk, and avant-garde elements to create music that defies easy categorization. The project began partly as a personal artistic outlet alongside the creator's involvement in black metal and folk metal bands, emphasizing organic and minimalistic soundscapes enriched with natural elements like wind, water, and birds. Draugurinn's music invites listeners on immersive aural journeys that combine electronic instruments, piano, distorted guitars, and voices with ambient recordings of nature sounds, resulting in a unique, atmospheric experience.
