Henki Kolstad

Henki Kolstad (1915–2008) was a beloved Norwegian actor, widely regarded as a pop-cultural national treasure in Norway. With a career spanning several decades, he made a significant impact through his work in theater, film, and television, with notable roles in the *Olsenbanden* series and the children's series *Jul i Skomakergata*. Kolstad was also recognized for his warm and rich voice, lending it to Norwegian dubs of classic Disney films such as *Robin Hood*, *Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs*, *Beauty and the Beast*, and *Aladdin*. His career began with a debut at the Oslo National Theatre, and he was honored with awards including the Amanda and the Order of St. Olav. Beyond acting, Henki was part of a family of well-known figures, with his brother Lasse Kolstad also a famous actor and his wife Else supporting him through a 76-year marriage.
