Laboratorija zvuka

Laboratorija Zvuka (meaning "Sound Laboratory") were a Yugoslav rock band formed in Novi Sad, Serbia in 1977. Known for their quirky, theatrical performances and blending of genres like rock, funk, jazz, and even folk elements, they gained popularity throughout Yugoslavia. They were especially recognized for their creative use of synthesizers and unconventional instruments, giving their music a distinct, experimental edge. The band's lineup shifted over the years, but they consistently delivered energetic live shows and released a number of albums and singles throughout the late 70s and 80s. While "Nevinost," "Telo," and "Duboko U Tebi" are some of their more recognizable tracks, they also composed music for theater, film, and television, showcasing their versatility and artistic range.

Though they disbanded in the late 1980s, Laboratorija Zvuka experienced a resurgence in popularity in the 2000s, and reformed for a time. Their music continues to be enjoyed by fans who appreciate their unique blend of genres and their playful, experimental approach to sound. They remain an important part of the Yugoslav rock legacy, remembered for their innovative spirit and their contribution to the vibrant music scene of the time.
