Yoshihiro Kondo

Yoshihiro Kondo is a renowned Japanese pianist celebrated for his captivating performances and interpretations of classical music. Born in Kawasaki City, Kondo began learning piano at the age of four and went on to graduate at the top of his class from the Tōhō Gakuen School of Music. He furthered his studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Munich under Gerhard Oppitz. Kondo's career took off after his debut performance with the Munich Symphony Orchestra in 1992, followed by his official debut in Japan in 1995. His first CD, released in 1996, catapulted him into the spotlight, and he has since become one of Japan's most prestigious pianists, recording over thirty CDs and DVDs with prominent labels like Denon and Decca.

Kondo's repertoire includes works by classical masters such as Beethoven and Chopin, and he has performed in esteemed venues like the Wiener Musikverein in Vienna and Suntory Hall in Tokyo.
