Escuchando Elefantes

Escuchando Elefantes is a Spanish indie folk duo made up of Silvia Rábade and Carlos Tajes. They've gained a dedicated following for their intimate, stripped-down sound, often performing with just two voices, a guitar, and a ukulele. Their music has a raw, emotional honesty, and they seamlessly blend Spanish and English lyrics. While they're known for their beautiful original songs like "Hope" and "Burning Inside," they also put their unique spin on covers, as evidenced by their rendition of "El Rey." Their live performances are known for their captivating energy and the palpable connection they create with their audience.

Originally busking on the streets of Galicia, Spain, Escuchando Elefantes (which translates to "Listening to Elephants") built their career organically, connecting with fans one performance at a time. This DIY spirit continues to inform their work, and they've independently released several albums, including the popular "¿Por Qué Siempre Cantáis en Inglés?" (Why Do You Always Sing in English?). They've toured extensively throughout Europe, sharing their heartfelt music and building a loyal international fanbase.
