Stephan Frucht is a German cellist who has been praised for his "warm, rich tone" and "virtuosic technique." He has performed as a soloist with major orchestras around the world, including the Berlin Philharmonic, the Vienna Philharmonic, and the New York Philharmonic. Frucht is also a dedicated chamber musician, and he has collaborated with some of the world's leading musicians, including pianists Mitsuko Uchida and Martha Argerich. In addition to his performing career, Frucht is also a professor of cello at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich.
