The BossHoss

The BossHoss is a German band that has made its mark on the music scene with a unique fusion of genres, predominantly country, rock'n'roll, and rockabilly, with a twist of modern pop and hip-hop. Formed in 2004 by lead vocalists Alec "Boss" Völkel and Sascha "Hoss" Vollmer, the band gained fame for their distinctive style and energetic performances. They first turned heads with their novel concept of covering pop and rock hits in a country and western style, and their debut album "Internashville Urban Hymns" launched them into the spotlight.

Over the years, The BossHoss have evolved beyond their cover band roots, crafting original songs that showcase their musical versatility and continue to engage their fan base. Albums like "Liberty of Action" and the more recent "Black Is Beautiful" highlight their capacity for growth and reinvention. Carving out a niche in the amalgam of cowboy hats and guitar riffs, the seven-member band has become a staple in the European music circuit, celebrated for their raucous live shows and charismatic swagger. With recent releases like "Donde Gimme That" and "Nice But No”, as well as collaborations such as "Hypa Hypa" with Eskimo Callboy, The BossHoss demonstrates their continued relevance and capacity to surprise and entertain in an ever-changing musical landscape.
