Husky Gawenda is an Australian singer-songwriter and musician best known as the frontman of the indie rock band Husky. Born in Sydney, Gawenda began his musical career in the early 2000s, forming Husky with his brother Gideon. The band released their debut album, "Forever So," in 2006, which was met with critical acclaim and earned them a nomination for the Australian Music Prize. Husky has since released several more albums, including "Dark Horses" (2010), "Ruckers Hill" (2014), and "Punchlines" (2018). Gawenda is known for his introspective lyrics and distinctive vocal style, which has been compared to that of Jeff Buckley and Nick Drake.
