Bang Yedam is a South Korean singer and songwriter, widely recognized as one of the prominent young talents in the K-pop industry. Born on May 7, 2002, in Seoul, South Korea, he first captured the public's attention as a gifted child vocalist when he finished as the runner-up on the second season of the South Korean reality competition show "K-pop Star" in 2012. His impeccable vocal skills and stage presence earned him a contract with YG Entertainment, one of South Korea's leading entertainment companies.

As a trainee under YG Entertainment, Bang Yedam honed his talents for several years before making his much-anticipated debut. In June 2020, he released his digital single "WAYO," which served as his solo debut track and showcased his soulful voice and musical maturity beyond his years.
