The Berzerker

The Berzerker is an Australian/British industrial death metal band formed in Melbourne in 1995. Their music is a unique blend of death metal, grindcore, speedcore, and gabber, drawing influences from bands like Carcass, Obituary, and Napalm Death. The band's founding member, Luke Kenny, initially started The Berzerker as a solo project after injuries forced him to stop drumming. Over the years, the band has released several albums, including *The Berzerker* (2000), *Dissimulate* (2002), *World of Lies* (2005), *Animosity* (2007), and *The Reawakening* (2008). Notably, their live performances were once characterized by band members wearing masks, a practice they eventually abandoned.

The Berzerker gained attention for their intense live shows and innovative music style. They have toured extensively, sharing stages with notable bands like Napalm Death and Strapping Young Lad. The band's music often features fast-paced drumming and aggressive vocals, contributing to their reputation in the metal scene.
