Wojciech Pyrć is a talented Polish pianist who began his piano studies at the age of six in Tymbark. He refined his skills through formal education at the Zenon Brzewski Secondary Music School in Warsaw and later graduated with honors from the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. Known for his expressive interpretations, Pyrć has won awards in several prestigious competitions, including the International Piano Competition “Maria Herrero” and the Polish Competition of Frederic Chopin Pianists.
Beyond performing, Wojciech Pyrć is also deeply involved in musicological research, particularly focusing on Polish 19th- and 20th-century compositions. He has collaborated with violist Aleksandra Demowska-Madejska on projects that revive forgotten Polish chamber works by composers such as Eta Tyrmand and Mieczysław Wajnberg, with their album *Escape From The Shadows* featuring world premiere recordings of rare pieces. Pyrć regularly performs in prominent Polish concert halls, music festivals, and with orchestras, showcasing his dual passion for classical piano performance and uncovering hidden gems of Polish musical heritage.
