Gulddreng

Gulddreng was a Danish rapper who absolutely exploded onto the scene in 2016. With his signature gold chains, sunglasses, and boastful lyrics about wealth and success, he quickly became a phenomenon. He released a string of incredibly popular singles, like "Model," "Se Mig Nu," and "Drikker for lidt," which dominated the Danish charts. His persona was all about living the high life, but it was later revealed to be a carefully crafted character.

In a surprising move at the height of his fame, Gulddreng announced his "retirement" in 2017, revealing himself to be Malte Ebert. The elaborate hoax captivated Denmark and sparked a lot of conversation about authenticity and image in the music industry. Ebert has since continued making music under his own name, exploring a different sound and style compared to his Gulddreng days.
