Starover Blue

Starover Blue is a Portland-based experimental dream pop band that originated in San Jose in 2007. Founding members Kendall Sallay and Dirk Milotz began their musical partnership while studying at San Jose State University. The band later relocated to Portland in 2016, where they expanded into a larger ensemble. Starover Blue's sound is characterized by the nostalgic tones of the Juno-106 synthesizer, ambient layers, sparkling guitars, and airy, bittersweet vocals. Their music appeals to fans of acts like Cocteau Twins, Wye Oak, and The Joy Formidable. The band has released several notable albums and singles, including *Spacegeist*, *Ordinary Magic*, and singles like "Anemone" and "Larkspur".
