Koryun Asatryan

Koryun Asatryan is an Armenian saxophonist born in 1985. He began his musical journey with piano but soon switched to the saxophone, studying under Professor Alexander Manukyan at the College of Music in Yerevan in 1993. Later, he continued his education in Dortmund, Germany. Asatryan is also an award-winner at the 2012 German Music Competition, which led to recordings on the 'Primavera Edition' debut CDs. He is based in Germany and has been involved in various musical projects, including being part of the Alliage Quintett. Some of his recent releases include "Saxophone," "Fortezza," and "Saxophone Caprices."

As a skilled saxophonist with international recognition, Asatryan's work reflects a deep commitment to his craft and a broad engagement with contemporary music. His contributions to the saxophone repertoire are highlighted through his diverse discography and performances.
